This site already had a significant footprint with family-values types, so it didn't need to a complete tear-down and rebuild. Instead, I focused on organizing the different types of information into four very simple categories.
Of course, it never hurts to clean up the visual interface – a that I did. I introduced white space, which had been lacking before, and lined things up neat columns. With this redesign and information organization, they were able to make changes quickly and easily – helping to build their reputation and drive advertising revenue.
In the process of cleaning everything else up I also picked up the redesign of their logo. In some ways this was more challenging than I anticipated because of the need to maintain consistency with their old branding, but in the end it was also very fulfilling. I felt like I was really able to help these good folks, and they were able to expand their site.
