This first image is the logo that the client chose. Secondly, you can see another (better) treatment of the logo.
Finally, you get to a couple different things that we experimented with for one reason or other. As (I hope) you can see, there are often times when just cutting loose – even if it doesn't result in "useable" design – leads to visually dynamic results nonetheless.
Personally, I think I would have gone with the simplified logo on everything, but then again I suppose there are other times where the colors work rather nicely as well.
