Biola University - Missions Conference Logo
Every year, the Biola University shuts down for a full week to host a mission conference. Students attend sessions on everything from caring for those with AIDS to starting your own non-profit.
This logo was designed while I was senior graphic designer for the student planning committee of this event. Did I mention that this event is completely planned by students? It is, and all the things that go along with student events apply here. The craziness, the fear, the fun, the weeks before an event with no sleep...
The concept behind this logo is pretty straightforward – Missions Conference acting as a link in the chain between non-profits (who need student involvement) and student activists (who need a cause).
Although this logo has been treated in a myriad of ways, here are a few of the ones I mocked up for use in the style guide.
